Meet Emma
I was fortunate to discover my passion for exercise at an early age, beginning my fitness career over thirty years ago. From the outset, my goal has been to help others develop the same appreciation for movement—supporting them to move well, feel strong, and ultimately live a more balanced, pain-free life.
My teaching philosophy places strong emphasis on correct technique and allowing each in-dividual to progress at their own pace. I aim to create an equal balance of strength, mobility, flexibility, and mindfulness in every session.
I began my career teaching group fitness classes and personal training clients in Hong Kong, where I continued my education in Aqua fitness and a wide range of Les Mills programs. Alongside my training in the spa industry, this led to roles as an opening Spa Director for luxury hotels and to managing leading health clubs across Asia and Australia for over twen-ty years.
After returning to the UK in 2012 with my family, I trained as a STOTT Pilates instructor and yoga teacher, and most recently, in 2023, qualified as a STOTT Reformer instructor. I currently teach at David Lloyd Health Clubs, The Grove Hotel Spa, and local independent Pilates studios, as well as offering in-home personal training for clients in the local area.
With my enthusiasm and nurturing teaching style, I strive to cultivate mindful, functional movement for everyone—from dedicated fitness enthusiasts to those managing chronic conditions.
